Following our story earlier this year revealing the first hints of an expansion pack for
last fall's Rome: Total War , a few more details emerged this past week. According to the latest print issues of PC Zone (UK),
the new expansion pack is entitled Rome: Total War - Barbarian Invasion, and takes place between the years of 364 AD and 476
AD. In the tradition of The Creative Assembly's previous expansion packs (including Mongol Invasion and Viking Invasion),
this new Barbarian invasion will focus on the tribes which tore down the Roman Empire: the Vandals, Saxons, and Huns. Apparently,
the new expansion will add night-time battles in addition to the standard fare of new units, landscapes, and gameplay enhancements.

more information on this expansion in the weeks to come.
